The first step

Government allocation announcement

To provide financial assistance to the distressed and the elderly, district-based funding was allocated from the Ministry of Social Welfare of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The matter was notified to the municipality / union parishad through a sub-allocation letter from the city social services office. This letter mentions how many will be given the old allowance.

Second step
After getting a list of the poor people, Mayor Mahodaya called for a special meeting after receiving a sub-allotment letter. The quota of the public representatives was decided in the meeting. According to the prescribed quota, the public representatives are asked to list the people eligible for getting their adult allowance in their respective areas. The representatives of the public have identified and list such people in their respective areas and submit them in the prescribed time within the prescribed time.

The third step

List Finishing

After getting the full list, every ward committee meeting is called. A 5/7 member ward committee was formed by the concerned Ward Councilor. The list is finalized after the selection of the meeting. After this, the list was sent to the Social Services office.
